The BEST Bedding Options for your BNB or Short Term Rental

Hey Hosts,

Bedding can be such a personal choice, but when it comes to your AIRBNB you need to have comfort and durability. Sure, you can buy a cheap set of sheets at Walmart but with the constant washing you will be replacing them every other month. You don’t need to spend a fortune on sheets but look for something with a decent thread count between 300-600.

Tips:

  1. Comforters and Duvets look nice for a bit but once they are washed, they can look worn and wrinkly. I suggest when making your beds to use a coverlet or quilt. These are easier to wash, and they tend to hold up better with multiple washings. A good way to add warmth and layers to your bedding is to fold a thick blanket at the end of the bed.

  2. When it comes to your rentals, my advice would be to have 2-3 sets of sheets and quilts to make things easier on your end especially if you have quick turnarounds.

One last thing I want to add.

As a designer, it is all about comfort and looks.

A bed without throw pillows does not scream high-end, it screams college dorm, and I can guarantee you that your ideal guest is not going to be wowed by your lack of presentation.

Here is a tip when it comes to throw pillows. Buy inserts and pillow coverings that can come off to be washed. Trust me, it will make all the difference in how inviting your room appears to your guests.
