My Favourite White Paint Colour!

It is no secret that I love Benjamin Moore Cloud White (OC-130). I’ve used it time and time again in client projects and in my own home. I love the subtle warmth it gives to a space without pulling too much yellow. The LRV (light reflective value) of cloud white is 85, meaning it is getting up there in the white range but has just enough warmth to keep it from looking stark in your space.

Cloud white isn’t just for walls either, I re-finished some old nightstands recently and they turned out better than I thought. I love how bright they are in my bedroom and they totally changed the feel of the room. You can check out how they look in my room below.

I didn’t stop there with the cloud white. When we were getting ready to paint our kitchen cabinets from dark oak to white, I went through my paint chips and landed on cloud white again (Surprise)! I wanted my cabinets to brighten up the kitchen but still have enough warmth that they didn’t look stark and cold. I love how it turned out. Check out the before/after below to see how just by painting the cabinets it changed the look & feel of the kitchen.

When we moved into our home the main floor powder room was purple. My neutral loving self had to change that ASAP. I wanted to keep the walls light as it is a small bath with no window and cloud white was the perfect choice. You can see how bright it made the bathroom and I’m super happy with it!

Cloud white can also be used on trim and doors if you want a warmer look. In my home, I have Benjamin Moore Simply White on all my trim and doors and I love the contrast with the cloud white.

You can see why I love cloud white and find it to be the perfect warm white for any room in your home!
